German Robotics Conference 2026

09.03.2026

Open6GHub+ at GRC 2026

From March 11–13, 2026, the international robotics community will gather in Cologne for the German Robotics Conference (GRC). The conference brings together leading figures from science, industry, and politics to discuss and further develop the future of AI-based robotics.

Our team from Open6GHub+ will also be there. At the DFKI Intelligent Networks research group booth, we will demonstrate how powerful next-generation mobile networks form a central foundation for networked and cooperative robotics systems.

🔎 Our demonstrator at GRC features two linear drives highly synchronized via 5G/6G mobile communications, illustrating how reliable, low-latency communication enables future robotic applications—from industrial and service robotics to new cooperative systems.

As one of the four major 6G transfer hubs in Germany, we are working to translate research results from 6G technology into concrete applications and to strengthen the transfer into industry and society.

The German Robotics Conference, organized by the Robotics Institute Germany, provides an ideal platform for this: it is where innovative robotics, artificial intelligence, and future communication networks converge.

📍 We look forward to engaging discussions and exchanging ideas with the international robotics and 6G community in Cologne.
