09.05.2025

From April 7 to 9, 2025, the Open6GHub Consortium Meeting took place at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

The first day featured paper presentations, general project updates, and highlights from various work packages. The evening concluded with a brewery tour followed by a joint dinner, providing a relaxed setting for informal exchange.

The second day focused on strategic topics such as the project roadmap, achievements to date, upcoming events, and planning for the final consortium meeting and an industry workshop. Detailed discussions covered work packages 3 through 9, and planning for the 6G Conference 2025 (WP10) was advanced. The day ended with another evening of informal networking over dinner.

The third and final day, titled “Open6GHub meets Industry,” centered around interaction with industry partners—key contributors to ongoing research and future developments. Keynote talks on ISAC (Integrated Sensing and Communication) and millimeter-wave technologies set the stage. This was followed by a series of demonstrator presentations and lab tours, showcasing innovative developments from project partners. The meeting concluded with a feedback session, gathering valuable input and impressions from participants.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all attendees, speakers, and supporters. The event provided valuable insights, fresh momentum, and strengthened collaboration as we move forward together on the path to 6G.
