Mission 7: Testbed for Security and Trustworthiness
This mission aims to implement and evaluate new concepts for security and trustworthiness in 6G networks and their applications. To this end, an evaluation network for security solutions is being developed that maps the network and its representations in a way that allows vulnerabilities to be evaluated. Comprehensive security concepts—encompassing the cloud/virtualization layer, network layer, and application (using cyber-physical twins) while also covering data protection requirements—are implemented and tested (Digital Identities (Self-Sovereign Identities, SSIs), Physical Layer Security, and Deception). Based on these security concepts, trustworthiness frameworks are developed and assessed.
